Green Factory Italia has been established, a new company specializing in the production of fresh, unwashed, packaged baby leaf greens for the Central and Eastern European market. The result of a joint venture between Green Holding Group and Noschese Farming Group, the company represents an important step forward for Italian agri-food and for the export of excellence in the ready-to-eat salad sector. The new operational headquarters, currently under construction in Battipaglia (SA), will serve as a strategic hub for the supply and distribution of baby leaf, with the aim of offering freshness, sustainability, and superior taste. Production will begin in December 2025, while large-scale distribution is scheduled for January 2026.
A shared vision between innovation and quality
According to Artur Rytel, CEO of Green Holding Group, “This launch is a milestone for our Group. Together with Noschese Farming Group, we are introducing a new quality standard for the baby leaf category in the CEE region”.
Guglielmo Noschese, CEO of Noschese Farming Group, emphasizes: “With Green Factory Italia, we are taking Italian agricultural excellence to a new level, guaranteeing the highest standards of freshness and sustainability without competing with existing businesses”.
Advanced technology and efficient logistics
Cultivation will take place in innovative tunnels built by Noschese, while the packaging plant will ensure complete control of the supply chain. The facility will also be a key logistics hub for all raw materials coming from southern Italy, including Green Crops Italia’s fields in Crotone.
Leading the project is Paulo Aleixo, the new general manager, who has 25 years of experience in the fresh salad sector.
